SUMMERFOLK UPDATE:

June 5, 2013

Rob;

I understand that you had some questions about dance at this year's festival. I am waiting on one of the main components, as group called Té from the Netherlands. They would be teaching and leading dances with a more European flavour, Scottish, Jigs, Circle Circassian, Hanter Dro, Mazurka, Bourée.
The Andrew and Noah Band, from up state New York will be our main Contra Band. Jorge Miguel's troupe will be doing Flamenco, WE are hoping to get Emily Flack, one of our youth discoveries winners and a member of the Leahy Clan to do some workshops on step dancing and the Quebec group Canaille to lead a cajun workshop.
Hows that?
cheers
